March 3,2005 was proclaimed Maggie Remer Day at a reception held at Northridge Country Club. The affair was hosted by Carl Teal and friends. Mayor James Bramlett of Texarkana, Texas and Mayor Horace Shipp of Texarkana, Arkansas presented Maggie with a plaque to remember the day.
